Josh's experiment was a success. Well, somewhat. I have to send my regards to Mrs. Anders. Her essence was a match for Josh's blood type.

I highly suggested Josh not use himself for this experiment, he's too impulsive. A good match for balancing out the strategy board, but not for taking on kni essence. He didn't listen to me. I feel somewhat to blame for what happened to him for not ordering him to not experiment on himself.

After taking kni essence into the bloodstream, with time and rigorous training, a human can come to use focus. It's not sustainable, though. We don't have a link to realmspace like the kni do, so the essence transfusion is slowly consumed when focusing.

I have put the project on indefinite hiatus. I guess I'm the only one who knows about it now.

Shelia noted that she swore that she saw Josh's blood glow over the cameras. I'm silently relieved she didn't press the topic.
