Resistance Bios¶

All the people I've gotten around to writing bios for. Mainly close friends and the like.
Copper Steel¶
AoD Tevmont Fir, 1515 (October 1st, 1515)
Copper is a 24-year-old monklike kni formerly acting as an off-worlder for the budding Resistance during the uprising, taught how to open rifts by Saul. In school, he was a pretty average monklike, though he never paid much attention in focus histories. Just before the uprising, his father disappeared and has since been assumed claimed. He was a direct witness to what the replica kni did during the uprising, and might be the reason that the replica kni decided to seek some way to weaken realm 04's bound focus link to realmspace, if that's even possible. Got stuck in aforementioned realmspace for 5 years.
He did write some out there things while he was stuck, though. Isolation gets to a man.
Still holds out some hope that maybe, maybe, Steel is still out there, somewhere.
Maybe.
Sapphire Bronze¶
AoD Sevmont tevsiv, 1493 (July 16th, 1493)
Sapphire Bronze, a 46-year-old monklike kni married to the (assumed) late Steel Bronze and mother of Copper Steel, is an accomplished seamstress and minor armorer for the Resistance. Just before the uprising, her husband went missing. He is now assumed claimed. During the uprising, her son Copper went missing, leaving just her. There were some nights where she couldn't sleep, thinking that she'd lost them both.
Allegedly, she used to write in her off time as well, much like Copper, but she always changes the subject when someone asks about it...
Zinc Lithium¶
AoD Sirmont tevthir, 1514 (February 13th, 1514)
Zinc Lithium, acting as surveillance officer of the Resistance, is a 25-year-old monklike kni working as a janitor for a replica bakery. His job in the Resistance is to record what happens in the city, and report it to the Resistance's strategy board. He also visits the families of those who get claimed. He says a personal informing softens the blow. In school, he used to be Copper's best friend. When Copper went missing, it taught Zinc about the impermanence of things, and to try not to take things for granted.
He really doesn't like his work getting interrupted.
Amethyst Silver¶
AoD Tevmont sirtev, 1515 (October 20th, 1515)
Amethyst Silver, acting as a teacher for the younger teens in the Resistance, is a 24-year-old monklike kni with a dark purple streak in the front of her hair, which she often has in a loose ponytail. In school, she was good friends with Copper, Jessie, Cobalt, and I, and paid more attention than she often had sleep for, sometimes crashing in the cafeteria for a few minutes. After school, she had applied to about four advanced focus colleges, but never got to go to any of them because of the uprising.
She got separated from her parents during the uprising, and hasn't seen them since. She is the alloy of Argon and Iridium Silver.
I honestly think Copper and her are growing apart, to be honest.
Shelia Daniels¶
AoD Tevsirmont ev, 1510 (December 8th, 1510)
Shelia Daniels is a 29-year-old humanlike kni serving in the Resistance as surveillance co-officer, married to Luke, and mother of Scott. She has long, dark brown hair and medium-light complexion. Back in school, she wasn't really ever in the same friend groups as her cousin, Zinc. She's made some slip-ups in the past, but she looks back at what causes them, and adjusts so that it doesn't happen again. But when it comes down to the wire, she's dependable.
She's a fan of realm 10's Avatar: The Last Airbender, and has been seen unironically applying bending styles to focus. She swears up and down that earth bending style plus shield focus is a perfect combination. And Amethyst is annoyed by it because she isn't wrong.
Her name isn't Sheila, and she will correct you.
Luke Daniels¶
AoD Nevmont siv, 1508 (September 6th, 1508)
Luke Daniels, a 31-year-old humanlike kni that would sometimes rather not associate with Shelia's clique, is married to Shelia and father of Scott. He has light complexion and middle brown, short hair. In school, he was pretty much the average student. He works maintenance with Saul off and on, and helps the underground human community.
With Saul in the Hi-Vis Appreciation Club.
Unironically believes that Spam means "Scientifically Produced Artificial Meat" and nobody's going to touch that with a 10ft pole.
Scott Daniels¶
AoD Sivmont tevsev, 2AU/1536 (June 17th, 2AU/1536)
Scott Daniels, 3 years old as of 5AU/1539, is the alloy of Shelia and Luke Daniels. He's a small humanlike kni, though I guess that's not his fault. Talks in short sentences, despite Shelia's best efforts. His favorite shape is yellow and his favorite color is a triangle. What the heck does any of that mean? It's up to interpretation, honestly.
Shelia made the mistake of showing him Sesame Street one time and Elmo was his personality for a solid week.
Cobalt Wilton¶
AoD Tevsirmont sirtevsir, 1514 (December 22nd, 1514)
Cobalt Wilton is a slim 25-year-old humanlike kni acting as a supply runner for the Resistance. She has shoulder-length black hair and a penchant for the color black or other dark colors. In school, she used to always be teased because she's an alloy of a monklike kni and a humanlike kni. Her older brother, another humanlike named Ferrite, used to always stand up for her. She then found a friend in Amethyst, adopting the nickname "Ame"(pronounced Aim) for her. In the commotion of the uprising, they got separated, and Ferrite protected her. As the Resistance formed, they started doing supply runs together. Cobalt's sometimes almost catlike mannerisms helped her in the field. One day, the two were found by a replica wolfpack patrol. Ferrite, protecting his sister, came out into the open and surrendered, leaving her in the shadow. She had to watch the entire event and stay hidden. That night, she subconsciously decided to keep other people out of her life, or they'll get hurt. Well, that's what I thought at first, at least.
Never in a million lifetimes would she ever admit it, but apparently she would love one of those cat-ear headsets from realm 10.
Saul Friedman¶
AoD Tevmont sirtevfov, 1494 (October 24, 1494)
Saul Friedman is partly just happy to be remembered. He's a big guy, a strong 45-year-old humanlike kni with short facial hair that sends Cobalt out on her runs with a list of salvage that he hopes she can find. He runs maintenance and runs the generator to keep Surveillance going. He's the Resistance's head mechanic, handyman, and metalworker. He used to be a professional realmspace navigator, being able to navigate using the realms' stars alone. After that, he organized the off-worlders to get humans out of realm 04. Now, he's just happy to have something to do.
At least he likes wearing hi-vis, so he's got that going for him.
Johnathan Hayes¶
DoB Fivmont fir, 1513 (May 1st, 1513)
I'm Johnathan Hayes. I'm a 26-year-old human and acting leader of the Resistance, but I've delegated so many of the tasks, I hardly do anything except keep the crew together. It gets boring sometimes. In school, I was buddies with Copper and thick as thieves with my twin sister, Jessica "Jessie" Hayes. A plan of Jessie and mine was instrumental in Copper confessing interest in Amethyst as a teen. After the uprising, I'm one of the very few humans with the courage to surface from the tunnels, and I committed to rounding up all the members and organize the Resistance when Jessica was killed in the uprising.
I'm pretty much the Resistance's dad. I sometimes act the part, too. Even though I went to school with around half of them.
Cobalt knows just as well as I do what it's like to lose a sibling.
Zinc and I occasionally arm wrestle. Zinc...hasn't won in years, but he's certain that he will someday. Zinc swears there's something in my water.
Ferrite Wilton¶
AoD Fivmont sirtevev, 1508 (May 28th, 1508)
A strong humanlike kni and late brother of Cobalt, Ferrite used to act as a supply runner for the Resistance alongside his sister, Cobalt. Ferrite's father was a humanlike kni and his mother was a monklike kni. This gave him and Cobalt the stigma of being "true alloys." When Ferrite was 12 and Cobalt was 6, their parents were claimed under "unknown circumstances," leaving Ferrite to take care of and protect Cobalt. To do so, he had to take various jobs and apprenticeships, teaching him a slew of random skills. Taking care of and protecting Cobalt, however, is a position that Ferrite would grow to take very seriously and would eventually give his life for a year after the uprising.
Ferrite was claimed at 27-years-old, and would've been 31 today.
Used to help the underground human Resistance colony with planting and farming, Saul and the supply team with construction and blacksmithing, and sometimes he'd help the human colony cook. The job that he loved before the uprising was being a courier, and he found his passion in supply running.
Radium Tungsten¶
AoD Tevfirmont tevnev, 1503 (November 19th, 1503)
Radium Tungsten, a female 36-year-old monklike kni teacher and co-worker of Amethyst, had a teaching job, a house, and a boyfriend before the uprising. After the uprising, she had none of these, but the Resistance provides within its ability. She now has a place to live and a place to teach in the Resistance, as schools aren't really a thing in the replica kni occupation. She's never seen inside a classroom without her hair back on the left and over her ear on the right, her pressed t-shirt, and her slimline skirt.
